I shouldn’t, but I do. Kinda. Sorta. Not like I (or Mr. Baruth) can change the locked-in verdict, but a small part of me is happy and smug at the same time.

Certainly this wouldn’t last long, as a review of the New Ford GT will produce the biggest smug face Oppo will make and once again write off the New NSX, but for now, I shall relish. Or at least let me.

The NSX is a good car though, that’s the thing. There’s just such a circle jerk around anything with blue oval that even if the GT is just on the same level as the NSX, it’ll get way over blown into some sort of god like entity.

Shitlords like to give the design trouble too, saying “it already looks dated” or whatever. Seeing it IRL that’s not the case. It’s nice. Not Beautiful or ugly or just bland. Best word is “handsome” I suppose.

Hmmm... think Ridge Racer . That’s what I’m seeing. It does supercar in a very Ridge Racer kind of way. And if you black out the front it looks spiffy, really.

Plus, you can punch a combo on it so you can turn the thing into an insaniac , apparently.

I was surprised when a friend of mine who is an architect, but not a car guy, exclaimed to me how beautiful the NSX was at the auto show he had gone to. I inquired about the Ford GT present at the same auto. He responded with, “meh too gaudy.”

If you tease a car for nearly 10 years it better be miles ahead of it’s nearest competitor. Just being “good” or equal or a little better at that point isn’t going to cut it.
